This morning when I woke up, I saw something on my nose. Turns out that WAS my nose. After a shrill scream, one of the other maidens came running. She told me this isn't the first time this has happened to a temple maid. She sat down and reassured me it was fine, to everyone else I still look human. I had just received Inari's blessing, whatever that means! I'm still feeling so hungry, I don't know what to think about all of this.

The higher ups have given me a couple of days off so I can 'adjust to the shape of the blessing'. I thought about going back home but what would that achieve? At least here I'm around folk who seem to understand what's going on. And the food is amazing! I wonder when the next course is being served...
