FA Thriller Banner - Oct '09
For those who'd like to save it in their fav's list (I got a couple requests for such), here's a bigger version of the Thriller-themed banner I made for FA. 100% Photoshop!

Kickass banner, woman! It acts as an awesome theme, as well as a nice tribute to the late King of Pop. Very cool of you!
I would go so far as to say it's the best FA banner ever, except... there's something about the picture that ruins it for me... something green... and to the lower right...

"And grizzly ghouls from every tomb, are closing in to seal your doom!" *pumps shotgun, ejects last shell and stares despairingly at empty magazine before the zombies close in...*
This Halloween/Thriller banner is very appropriate for the month of October. Well drawn and stylish too. Congratulations Liz!

I....think I just fell a little bit in love with you.
My general thought process upon logging in to FA this evening:
1.) Oh, a new banner...
2.) Say, it is October, isn't it? Monster Fender, zombies, Rednef as the scared damsel, creepy fog. This is pretty nifty.
3.) Wait, something about this is nagging at me... *takes a closer look at Fender's costume*
4.) Oh god, is he wearing...? He is!!!
5.) Sqeeeee!

I think I made the theme song to your banner!

...who in turn "stole" it from David Bowie. S'how fashion works; lot of borrowing, copying, and repackaging.
"Nomi was so impressed with the plastic quasi-tuxedo suit that Bowie wore during "The Man Who Sold the World" that he commissioned one to be made for himself." (from wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klaus_Nomi)

Nice one. The jacket reminds me more of the Indian Thriller, though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDKcevMFUCo
