Nightshade workout dilemma



Inside the school cafeteria, Tira Bright, and Timber Night Wolf were both eating their lunch that their mother made for them. Timber was having some Rabbit stew that his mother made last night. Some of the other students were looking at him weird for having meal that had some meat inside, but the school was made of several different creatures, everyone can fill comfortable. Tira on the other hand was still in her dragon form, and the lunch her mom made for her was steak with hay fried. It may look odd for some people, but Tira was half pony, and half dragon, so she still have both craving. While they both eating their lunch, Timber was looking around the cafeteria, searching for someone that was meant to be with them. Tira look at Timber and ask him to see what wrong.

Tira Bright: hey Timber, is something a matter?

Timber Night Wolf: Timber is looking for our friend Nightshade. She usually be here right now, but Timber doesn't see her yet.

Tira Bright: don't worry too much about her, Timber. If we know one thing about her, is that she never miss a Lunch break. Especially when the Cafeteria is serving chocolate chips cookies today.

Timber Night Wolf: Timber remember, that why Timber was able to buy the last few chocolate chip cookies, before they were all gone.

Tira Bright: wow! That super cool of you, usually the lunch lady never give away the cookies like that, especially when they know how good they are.

Timber night wolf: well once Timber mentioned Nightshade name, they know how Nightshade is when it comes to cookies, so they were nice enough to give them up.

Tira Bright: well once Nightshade get her big flank over here, she going to love you to death.

Timber night wolf: please don't give her ideas. Timber is just being nice by getting the cookies.

Nightshade: and course of that my dear Timber Wimber, is the reason why I love you so much.

Timber and Timber look, and notice that Nightshade was stranding right behind them. They notice that Nightshade was carrying a lunch bag, instead of her usual tray of food from the lunch line. Timber was going to ask her if things were alright, but he was cut off when Nightshade gave him a tight hug.

Nightshade: oh Timber, my knight and shiny lycane pony. Thank you so much for saving me some chocolate chip cookies for. I knew your heart belong to me.

Timber night wolf: Timber had no problem getting the cookies for you, but would you mind letting Timber go, please.

Nightshade: *she relies that she was squeezing Timber, and finally let him go* sorry about that Timber winner, I tend to forget my own dragon strength.

Tira bright: are you sure it your dragon strength, not how big you are.

Nightshade: you’re just jealous that you can't have a nice figure like mine. But I guess having a mother that gotten a nice rear than you, make anyone a little jealous.

Tira Bright: can you not mention about my mom like that.

Nightshade didn't say anything else except siting down right next to Timber, and bump right next to him. Nightshade open her lunch bag and grab a ham sandwich her father made for her, and took a bite from it. Then she grab one of the cookies and took a nibble from it as well.

Nightshade: oh gosh that cookie is so good.

Tira Bright: well I hope you’re enjoying it, because Timber had to do his best to get it.

Nightshade: I still am, maybe Timber want a big reward for his great bravery.

Timber night wolf: ..... Um, maybe another time. But Timber want to know where have you been. We usually see you here first, before everyone.

Tira Bright: Timber got a point. You usually never late like that, and we started to get worried.

Nightshade: ...... sigh, I wish I could tell you guys, but knowing Tira, she going to laugh.

Tira bright: that not true. I would never laugh at you like that.... Unless it was something funny, and something to black mail you later.

Nightshade: .....

Timber night wolf: come on Nightshade, just tell us already. We are your friends, and friends always stick together.

Nightshade was a bit worried to tell then why she was late, but her heart for Timber was so strong, she finally found the courage to tell them she was doing.

Nightshade: well if you two need to know. I was talking to our gym teacher a little while ago.

Tira Bright: You mean spitfire aunt skyrocket. She is one of the toughest gym teachers we ever had.

Timber night wolf: But what Ms. Skyrocket want from you.

Nightshade: *she took another bite from one of her cookies* well apparently Ms. Skyrocket was complaining about my grades in gym class. She said that I keep on skipping, and bring in a doctor note saying I can't do any of the activities.

Timber night wolf: Timber didn't know you ditched gym class.

Tira Bright: come to think of it, I always find you hanging out at the Library a lot, instead of being our gym class.

Timber night wolf: but that doesn't explain why she is failing gym for.

Nightshade: because gym is boring. All we do is nothing more than jogging around the track, do simple sport activities that lame, and one time I ask the teacher that we could have dodge ball. She said the sport was too dangerous, and I would put a classmate in the nurse's office..... Again.

Tira Bright: well you can't blame her for liking things rough. If you can't face me seriously, then stay out of my way.

Timber night wolf: so what else Ms. Skyrocket said about your grades. Are you going to repeat gym class again?

Nightshade: that what she said, but she told me all I have to do is take one test, and I will pass no problem.

Tira Bright: well that sound like a piece of cake.

Nightshade: I would mind some cake, but I have to be serious about this. She said if I don't pass this test, I be stuck repeating gym again, and I won't be able to join you guys for the Royal Guard’s Academy.

Timber night wolf: that can't happen Nightshade. We need you to be our special group.

Tira Bright: even though part of me don't care, it Timber right. You and I made a promise to be part of a team, and we going to make sure it stay that way.

Nightshade: you mean, you two going to help me pass gym class.

Tira Bright: of course, I mean how hard this test going to be?

Nightshade: .... You do realize who the gym teacher we are talking about. You even mention her name.

Tira Bright: oh yeah, I almost forgot. Whatever test Ms. Skyrocket got for you, she going to make sure it a hard one for all of us.

Timber night wolf: Timber wanted to know how bad she really is, since Timber don't have gym class with you two.

Nightshade: Ms. Skyrocket was once a drill Sargent at the Wonderbolts Academy. She retired from the job, when the school was offering something more.

Tira Bright: I heard rumors that she was able to have everyone do a lap around the campus, until one of the students wings wore off.

Timber night wolf: oh dear, maybe we should come a better way for Nightshade to pass the class.

Nightshade: no can do. I already try everything to change her mind, but she said it either pass the class, or not at all.

Tira Bright: then I guess I make sure that you going to pass the test then.

Timber night wolf: you sure you guys don't want Timber be there as support?

Nightshade: *she hug Timber* of course my dear Timber, just knowing you being there will make me super happy.

Tira Bright: but remember Nightshade, Timber only watching us, and nothing.

Nightshade: I know, and I don't care.

After they had their lunch, Tira Bright, and Nightshade were outside at the field with a few students for gym class. Tira Bright was nervous of what sort of punishment the gym teacher is going to give, while Nightshade was eating an ice cream bar out of boredom. Tira look at Nightshade and was surprised to see her eating, while getting ready for an important test. She talk to Nightshade softly, letting her know that she need to get rid of it.

Tira Bright: pss, what are you doing?

Nightshade: what do you think, I'm eating my snack.

Tira Bright: before we having our gym test.

Nightshade: I always have my ice cream before any activity. Now if you don't mind, I like to finish my ice cream.

Tira Bright: I can't believe this. You got to get rid of that, before.

Before she could finish her sentence, Tira heard something blowing a whistle very loud. Tira, and Nightshade know when someone blowing the whistle, that mean Ms. Skyrocket is here. They saw a sun orange Pegasus mare with one wing, and eyepatch, walk pass by the students. Tira Bright may have dealt some hard training from her grandfather, mother, and auntie Nova, but Ms. Skyrocket was one gym teacher you never want to mess with. Tira Bright look back at Nightshdae to tell you to finish eating her ice cream bar, but she notice that she already eat it, but it was inside her mouth. Before she got the chance to tell to finish it quick, she already see that Ms. Skyrocket was already in front of her, waiting for Tira to pay attention. Nervous she was, Tira stood still the best she can, and making sure that Ms. Skyrocket doesn’t smell fear. Ms. Skyrocket look at Tira, and Nightshade, and she was pleased to see them the most. She remove her sunglasses and start talking to them first, before the rest of the class.

Ms. Skyrocket: well look we have here. Two dragoness are finally here on time for their test. I’m even impress that you made it to class Nightshade, since this is the only chance you got to pass this class.

Nightshade: ………

Ms. Skyrocket: speechless huh! Well I hope you’re ready for this, because this test is something I been planning all year.

Random student: Ms. Skyrocket, what sort of test you’re going to give us exactly.

MS. Skyrocket: oh nothing special really. This test you all going to take is very easy. All you have to do is pass through my personal made obstacle course, and you pass.

Tira Bright: um, where is the obstacle course?

Ms. Skyrocket didn’t said a word, except move her hooves, and point at the area where the obstacle course was at. Tira Bright, and Nightshade look at the obstacle course and notice the course hade a lot of twist and turns, it even have a rope that reach the very top to somewhere they don’t know. Nightshade gulp down her ice cream that was in her mouth, knowing that she going to die from even trying. Tira Bright have no problem dealing with this obstacle, but since she in the form of a dragon, and don’t have her wings right now, it going to be a lot difficult. Ms. Skyrocket enjoy seeing the look on their faces, and continue talking to the rest of the class about the obstacle course. Nightshade came back to reality, and talk to Tira to see if she can help her escape gym class.

Nightshade: Tira, we got to get out of here. Ms. Skyrocket want to kill us.

Tira Bright: the weird thing for me to say this, but I agree with you. We got to get out of here, but we can’t

Nightshade: what do you mean we can’t! Ypu and I both know I can use my fire breath to teleport us out of here.

Tira Bright: if we do that, Ms. Skyrocket will failed you, and you won’t join the Royal Guard Academy.

Nightshade: so I won’t be able to go, what the big deal?

Tira Bright: what about the promise we made at the pool. Don’t tell me you want to break that.

Nightshade: …… No, and it I don’t pass this test, Timber Wimber will be upset with me, and I don’t want to lose my husband to you.

Tira Bright: for the last time Nightshade, Timber and I are best friend.

Nightshade: first bestfrined, then relationship. I be ready to get my preacious hybrid.

Ms. Skyrocket: alright you two, I hope your don talking, because you girls are going first.

Tira Bright: us! But what about the other students.

Nightshade: that right, should we go last instead.

Ms. Skyrocket: usually I had no problem to have you two go last, but the last time I did that, one of you manage to escape gym class all the time.

Tira Bright: …….. Really, Nightshade?

Nightshade: the school library had a new book I been wanting to read.

Ms. Skyrocket: any case, enough stalling you two, time to go.

Ms. Skyrocket blow her whistle, which force them to start running towards the obstacle course. Once they reach the starting point, Both of them were having second thoughts of doing it. Nightshade want to back away from it, but Tira was able to grab her tail, and start running into the course. They were able to pass the tire jump, then log crossing. When they reach the monkey bars, Tira had to use them, but Nightshade use her wings to cross instead. Tira was mad of what Nightshade was doing, and jump off from the monkey bars, and landed on Nightshade back. Nightshade lose her balance, and both of them fell into the mud. They were both messy, but they need to continue on finishing the course. After passing through the other course, they manage to reach the final task, and that was the climb rope. Tira was going to hape climbing up the rope with her hands, but Nightshade already got a plan to use her wings, and fly up there. Tira stop Nightshade from even taking off.

Nightshade: what are you doing Tira?

Tira Bright: stoping you from cheating. You need to pass this fare, and square.

Nightshade: I just want to get this stupid test done and over with.

Tira Bright: then pass the test fair like me.

Nightshade: how about sprout some wings, oh wait, I nearly forgot. You’re not even a Pegasus anymore.

Tira Bright: ………. That it!

Tira Bright grab Nightshade, and wrestle her down the floor. They both started fighting each other, neither one want to stop. Timber Night Wolf saw what going on and fly over to them. He try to think of a way to stop. Then he remember a spell his father taught him, and plan to use it on his friend. Timber Night Wolf horn started to glow and he was able to summon a bucket of water. He use the bucket of water and splash it on his friends. Tira Bright, and Nightshade were both wet, but this time they weren’t cover in mud. Timber place the bucket on the side, and start lecturing his friends.

Timber Night Wolf: what you guys were thinking, you were doing great a little while ago, and now all of sudden you want to strangle each other neck.

Tira Bright & Nightshade: ……. She started it.

Timber Night Wolf: don’t even think about it. Timber is upset that you let it go this far. Now the teacher is going to fail you both from not finishing the test.

Ms. Skyrocket: actually young man, those two actually pass.

All three of them look and saw Ms. Skyrocket fly over their side, to see if they were doing ok. Nightshade, and Tira were confuse of what Ms. Skyrocket said, and ask her again what she meant.

Tira Bright: what do you mean we pass Ms. Skyrocket

Nightshade: that right! Neither of us didn’t even climb the rope.

Ms. Skyrocket: I already know that, which why the rope was just an extra credit if anyone want to. You think I’m that crazy to make you actually do it.

All three of them: …………………

Ms. Skyrocket: pretend that you not going to say it.

Nightshade: we already forgot, but what you was saying Ms. Skyrocket. We actually pass your test.

MS. Skyrocket: that right my dear. At first I was hoping you wasn’t going to use your trick to skip this test, but with Tira by your side keep an extra eye on you, you two were able to go through the course without problems. Well minus the fight you guys were in, but I will let that slide.

Tira Bright: so if Nightshade pass gym class. That mean she is able to join us with the Royal Guard Academy

Timber Night Wolf: congrats Nightshade, you did it.

Nightshade: well of course I did, what do you think I am

Tira Bright: a spoil princess, with a thick rear end.

Nightshade: hey, if you going to say that, say it right. I’m a spoil princess, with a cute rear end.

Tira Bright: oh brother.
