I'm trying to. The money required to make it all is more than I'm capable for right now, so unfortunately the costume is on an indefinite hold. You can see how far I got on my WordPress, though it doesn't show that I had the cloak cut out at one point. The cloak is now gone; I have to make it again.

Aww man, that sucks. What happened to the cloak? And I know all bout the whole money thing, my costume cost a few hundred dollars to put together.
It's a mash-up of different ones, actually. The main costume is supposed to be the Hero of Time outfit, but I had to buy different boots (the boots that I got along with the costume were way too small and hurt my feet), so they're a different style. As are the Bracers, as they're just large brown Gothic ones I had to get to replace the ones that came with the costume (they look awesome, though). The shield is a left-handed shield, so I have to wear the Baldric in the right-handed fashion. So basically I'm going as my own version of Link. x3 I also have a cool Pauldron to go over my left shoulder. I have some pics in my scraps folder, though unfortunately they got rotated 90o to the left, so they're all sideways. x3

that is STUPID AWESOME. well done! for a "pieced together" i really like it. goes to show you don't need to spend thousands to make something awesome!

Thank you! I got the Bracers and the Pauldron from Crimson Chain Leatherworks, they do really awesome work. All the rest I just pieced together from various shopping places online.
