Harmony took the moment to look over herself, even testing out some of the new abilities she had. She could touch fire... absorb it. control it! and she wasn't dead, but beautiful! Her arms and wings... and a tail. all covered with soft feathers. Downy for warmth and larger ones all over. and the beak and claws! she could do damage with these! the sound of cracking from above distracted her from her revelry and newfound joy at being alive. The roof! the roof was collapsing! there was no time to dodge. even to move. The heaviest section slammed onto her, severing her back, crushing her neck. She was killed instantly...

Some time after, rescue workers were picking through the rubble, looking for the cause. One shoved over a peice of the roof that had fallen on something. Just a pile of ashes. He was about to leave when the ashes started to smoulder...
