Basherfly was possessed by one of the two shadow souls along with Slushy, making both of them unable to awaken but the Shadow Souls took the form of Basherfly and made itself a clone of him. The pair of shadow souls that were clones of Basherfly and Slushy would later merge into an unknown being, after their clone forms are defeated.
