This was something I was hoping to get asked about. I was going to answer this in a Q&A, but I might as well answer it now:

Due the the expedited speed that the existing system has been taken down- including legal changes- and the enforced messages, the aftermath does include a bright future for animal minorities. The plans were set in motion and the majority of people seemed to be in favor of at least disbanding the kidnapping aspects of it. The prisons are already demolished and activism has led to the idea of a museum. Racism still has a long way to go, but the killing people part isn't going to be reinstated. Ironically, it's more like Harborym got the ball rolling.
