Thanks! It's been about 23 years since he died. Who'd thought i'd turn out to be almost exactly like him! Not a day goes by that i think of him. I've been planning on drawing him,that pesky brother of mine, and me. It'll be a fun flash back series.

I finished it. I was going to submit it today. Somebody wrecked into a telephone pole and that knocked the power out for my whole neighborhood! Juuuuuuuust great! Now i've got to set all my clocks again!

Awwww this is so nice :) Reminds me of a story book with the Baby Bear adventures, after the baby bear falls in the stream and is picked up and comforted after being rescued.

It's part of The Little Bear Stories by Martin Waddell. The story in question is Good Job, Little Bear, and here is a scan http://snuggems.org/littlebearscared.jpg The pose looks very similar to your Kissyfur drawing above, that's why I mentioned this book :)

I also recommend The Big Baby Bear Book by John Prater, about a grandbear and his grandcub.

You're welcome! It's wonderful artwork yes. I have the Kissyfur Treasury as well as some of the paperback stories (Birthday Hugs, Kissyfur and His Dad, etc) and some Little Bear stories, of the type i showed as well as the ones Maurice Sendak illustrated. Other ones, I have a few "Jesse Bear" ones (What Will You Wear, Jesse Bear?) and another one called "I'm Terrific" There are other ones too, I need to make a list one day. Of course I have some of the old Care Bears story books too, and a few about Baby Brown Bear. I love bears too, and bunnies, and mice. So I have a lot of stories about them. I have one about teddy bears too called "Grandma's Bears" and "The Teddy Bear's Picnic"

By the way, do you have a Kissyfur book intitled "Kissyfur's honeypot? Tha one is very hard to find.I have all those Kissyfur books except "Kissyfur and his dad". Thank you my friend for all this information, hope don't bother you!!

I don't have Kissyfur's Honeypot. I *MIGHT* have two copies of Kissyfur and His Dad, if I do (and find both) I could maybe send you one. You aren't bothering me at all, I love talking about stuff like this, it's wonderful!
