The moment I saw this splendorous birdie being auctioned off by  Ivnis I knew I had to try to get him, and I'm so glad I did! His radiant plumage is best seen in the sun, though he does hunt at night sometimes, in which case he can change to a darker coloration as shown. His flexible tail is longer than the rest of his body and very useful for wrapping around his friends so they can relax in a cocoon of warmth. Of course, that tail is quite heavy and would hinder his flight were it not for a second pair of smaller wings situated near the base of his tail so he can balance the long train he carries with him wherever he goes.

His magic is potent enough to control the weather at will, so he can cause the sun to shine down on his wondrous body or bring the clouds together so they can summon rain, winds, and lightning, all of which he can shrug off without issue. The locals in his territory revere him as a god, which he basically is as far as he's concerned; after all, he is the only one that he knows of in existence, though there are definitely gryphons around that simply do not have the magical capabilities he has. One gryphon has piqued his interest, however, one with a spotted fur coat and large eagle wings...
