Leon has always had his eyes on Keiko since he first saw her and Zorn knows Leon as the type of gut she would not be happy with. Not that he cares he just kept his promise to protect her. Keiko doesn't feel that way towards him and when Zorn is around she would ignore him and hug Zorn. Leon would see Zorn as a love rival.
