Hiddson: Hello and welcome to another season of Bandits Breakdown, I'm Brett Hiddson along with with Terrence Thrusday. Terry a new season brings new opportunities, new faces, and ultimately another chance to chase the Furry Bowl trophy.
Thursday: That's right Brett, Bandits coming off a sub par season from their expectations but with the chance to reload via a good draft and key free agents, anything can happen this time around.
Hiddson: The Bandits draft choices Lola Pikake, and Troy Schmidt will look to make a good impact for now and the future while free agency signings like Daryl Fun, and Issac Sierra also look to do damage for our desert desperadoes! And what better way to start the season than to face the United Western rivals, the California Dons.

Hiddson: The new faces, and returning vets like Pikake and Stapler. Sierra, and Rowe... Should be a good contest but not the start Stapler wants to see as Roy Viridi-Aqua after running his route on a second down play gets injured with little contact... *music fades* Trainers confirming its a tightened hamstring and would not return to this game. *music returns* Stapler though would take the newfound challenge and get Issac Sierra going.
KLVB Radio Play By Play: 1st and goal at the 4... Stapler leading a good drive.. in I formation and both receivers on the weak side... Takes the snap, Strong side toss to Sierra gets the block from the Bakari... TOUCHDOWN! *crowd cheers* … Issac Sierra with his first Touchdown run in a Bandits uniform to give Vegas the lead!
Hiddson: Thanks to our friends at KLVB Radio. Issac Sierra already making an impact on this game, Terry.
Thursday: Your, right, Brett. Sierra with the nice move to avoid the linebacker and since no corners were around to lend themselves to gang tackle, Sierra had the speed to elude the defense and get the touchdown.
Hiddson: Second quarter action and the Bandits driving down the field with Jose Alcala and Sierra getting involved in the passing stepping up in Viridi-Aqua's absence and another rushing touchdown for the new runner for the Desert Desperadoes! Not all good times as the Dons try to fight back, Darnell Paige still an amazing talent leading his own long drive and capping it off with a fantastic touchdown run himself. Score at the half would be 10 to 20 in favor of the Bandits.
Thursday: Second half and the Dons trying to narrow the gap...
KLVB Radio: 1st down for the Dons after the completion to Davenport, Paige drops back to pass, looking for Clark down the middle.. INTERCEPTED by Kelley Rowe! She's at the 25... and tackled at the 20! First interception by Rowe this season and having a monster game for the Bandits!
Hiddson: Kelley Rowe would have a huge game for Vegas with a sack, a pick, and a team high 13 tackles, just all over the field.
Thursday: Expect nothing less from what's she's established becoming a premier linebacker in the UFFL. Good zone awareness allows her to jump the route and get a bit of a return there, helping the Offense pull away even further, Brett.
Hiddson: Getting even better for Bandits fans, fan favorite full back Iishi Miyumi showing her blazing speed once again! A 78-yard touchdown catch and the Bandits in complete control despite a Fourth Quarter touchdown for the Dons, your final score 34-20 Bandits with a great start to the season despite losing R.V.A. to injury.
Thursday: Yeah, Brett tough to lose a player of his caliber early on but if they can navigate the next one or two games without him, This team will be even more dangerous upon his return. They know what he means to them and they also know the importance of 'Next Fur Up' and I expect a tremendous opportunity for the remaining receivers and runners on offense.
Hiddson: And with that we'll take ourselves a short break but when we return, a look at the Bandits next match up with the defending Fur Bowl champions, the Chicago Outlaws.
