When Wash was explaining about Zan and Furiosa's relationship he does explain that she and Zan were close. Tucker immediately thought he was like an ex-boyfriend and he punched him unconscious. But it was little bit more it turns out they were meant to be engaged but they kinda separated in a mutual way. The fact that Tucker knocked out Furiosa's ex-fiance he does feel really really guilty.
