It's not exactly what 
PoisonousVixen requested, but I tried to keep the essence of the request intact. I hope you don't mind the way I changed it. ^_^;
If you can't see what it is: It's a xenomorph being overly protective about an egg.
I know it doesn't many any sense... but neither do I.

Weird innit?
Although I did read somewhere in an article with the producers that xenomorphs originally had a whole civilisation, the older and wiser xenos teaching and educating the newborn. Until a cataclismic event killed all the elders and only unhatched eggs were left. Without guidance of the other xenomorphs, the chestbursters emerged from their hosts and had no one to teach them... they remained the feral xenos we know today.
