Wow, so few people actually remember this amazing anime. It brought tears to my eyes when the ending happened, and came close to another set when DieBuster's ending came, tying itself into this. Watching the Earth light up with "Welcome Home" was heart-wrenching. So long she was thrice dead and dust, and still the promise was kept, to welcome them home.
