11x14" scratchboard with colored inks. It is based on a photograph I took at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh. This was my first try coloring scratchboard and it was kind of an adventure!
I gave the original to my great aunt for her 100th birthday in early October 2009.

Wow.... This is utterly amazing. I feel that you are easily among the most talented artists I have ever seen. The level of detail on this is utterly immaculate. Each individual fiber on each feather is visible. Not to mention the level of realism you exhibit is beyond words.
Simply Stupendous.
