While the flannel shirt helps the look of someone trying to rough it out in the woods, one has to admit that everyone's favourite Sylveon barista-friend isn't exactly a figure cut out for camping away from civilisation. His sweet and gentle nature doesn't really translate well to the typical idea of staying away from the city and doing MANLY~ things out in the forests and lakes far away from other people and Pokemon.
On the other hand, he's the perfect camping companion to have help out, demonstrated with his type-shifting using both Type:Fire to light up the camp and keep things warm, and Type:Water to find and deliver fresh water without all the trouble of carrying buckets or other storage mediums. So this setup is less manly roughing it, and more some sweet alone time out under the stars with a pretty, eccentric Sylveon.
