A scene from Takt of Magic. During a peace talk between Glen, the commander of the wolves (person in the back) and the protagonist. Right as it seems he's going to switch sides, One of your units, Wilco, decides Glen is better off dead and fires. Corsair (person in the front) leaps forward to take the arrow instead. Disgusted, Glen refuses to change sides. If, however, you choose the dark rune, he becomes your ally. If you choose the light rune instead, Glen himself becomes a caster and inherits the dark rune (Yes, that means the big hunk is playable). If he gets the dark rune, he resurrects Corsair.
While I really struggled to follow the plot to this Japanese-only game, this cutscene was choreographed enough for me to understand the main concept. The music, character expressions, etc. were all so strong in the cutscene that this really stuck with me. In addition, the fact that Wilco automatically assigns himself as your other unit whenever you fight Glen or one of his lackeys really shows how Wilco really did mean to shoot to kill.
I hope this Takt of Magic stuff isn't making any of you guys too lost. Maybe, if I get the right software, I could stream the Takt of Magic game.
