So when you choose the dark path, your childhood friend takes up the light rune and, in the most badass way, tries to kill you to the point where she summons the god of light to bring hope to the land. It's implied she's very angry with Orville, but I can't read Japanese enough, so I imagine it's something like this.

Originally it was going to be her standing in a pit of lava burning to death while smiling and saying "This Is Fine" because in the fire levels it always seems like her AI leads her deep in the lava. I couldn't get her face to look right so I did this instead.
