ligers, like lions tend to have spots for the first few months of life. they tend to fade as they get older. though with ligers, the spots tend to stay on the facial area, and become faint stripes on the body. Male ligers have manes, though they seem to be the same shade as the body fur. This little one will probably continue to grow for the rest of his life as ligers have a form of Gigantism caused by the differences in the parents genetics.
