He's confused about all this 'naughty or nice'.
Santa Baph is coming to town..
While being a guardian is his number one priority when he's not doing what baphomets do in the Hells, the problem with being a protector of a sweet little girl like "Innocence" means that he may be summoned for any number of reasons and not all of them the defensive. You see, the doe - her real name being Raechel - likes having her 'uncle' around, and when a problem comes up she thinks he can help with, well.
"Numbers" is capable of cloaking his true presence, minimising his ambient heat, hiding his scars, his demonic glowing eyes, and looking like a normal (albeit overlarge) goat. This is just the look that Raechel needs to have him play Santa for her when the local mall's usual cannot assist. Of course, being ten feet of pure power, the Santa costume doesn't really fit him, and he has NO idea what this whole 'naughty or nice' thing is for.
That is why the strangely warm, concerned and confused Santa Baphomet is as perplexed as anyone now he has a list in his hands and a line of children and teenagers in front of him. But at least Raechel will be happy to help out her 'uncle' as one of Santa's little elfin helpers!
