I'll say this for Fratley, he did have amnesia. So his not coming back isn't what I think should have taken him out of the running.
However, I still agree with you. When he encountered Freya again, he had zero interest/concern for her. He didn't even stick around to protect his own people.

this is true he did have amnesia but what i meant was his desire to go out and train overrode (spelling?) his interest in her. or thats what i picked up from those moments in the game at least. after we learn of his amnesia i found it amusing that his mind blanked but his muscles remembered how to fight just fine. also i agree with your point against fratley and would like to add that he was only there because puk somehow managed to drag him there.
You should definitely thank Discchange for being the one who commissioned this piece then, since I don't know anything about this fandom and characters :D
