Finally I can show my Renamon model in a cool pose here! You can view her model on Sketchfab

The final is composed out of several best preview renders from Zbrush with some overpainting added on top to give the model a slight fur texture.

I might have to pick your brain on modeling characters at some point. Maybe once I get a character model finished, you could take a look at it if you have the time.

it would be cool to make a material that looks like that fur instead of adding it into post. I might try something like that.

There are some options for that but it's very time consuming. FOr example, you have fibermeshes in Zbrush that can simulate fur. But it's complicated to get right and you need a lot of processing power to work with it. Another way is by painting the fur in but will take a while and will not work with light coming from different angles.

I was messing around with it in blender for a bit. I think you can get a close effect if you have a fur texture you use as a normal map on a glossy node, but not the diffuse. Im going to try with the next model I do see if I cant get something to work
