WIP piece of music for a currently unnanounced character planned for Exetype. I will be revealing this character shortly once I'm done finalising the design.
And no, it's name is not Zhang. In Chinese legend there was a Goddess Yifun Zhang who lead an army composed of a certain species of animal in order to uphold justice. This legend is fairly key to Exetype's plot.
Anyway, I am going to take this down and reupload after I make it better. This time I managed to get myself some great freeware FX that allow me to turn any crappy midi rock guitar into one that sounds a lot more realistic.
Some of the synths are going to be replaced, especially that weak Sytrus trumpet.
Also, those of you who have watched me on DA may recognise this tune from before. :P Yes, I am not above remixing older tunes and recycling them to more relevant projects.

I've already got a team together on this project so there really isn't any way for me to back out of it now.
All that other stuff I did before was just playing around and experiments pretty much. I'm going full steam on this one and so long as people play it when it's done, I'll be working on it even after production to keep it balanced and up to date.

The new synths and FX you're using bring your work from brilliant to AMAZING! Can't wait to see more Exetype stuff from you and Extvia.
On a side note, I know you've mentioned that your previous projects were experiments, but after Exetype do you plan on returning to any of them? Personally, I think Rave Battle would be a good candidate for a action rpg/fighter game.

It depends really. At this stage in my life I have to think about what is markitable. Exetype works because we plan to aim it at a younger/teenage demographic and the digimon/Pokemon crowd. The characters are robots and not furries so they're less likely to turn people off.
After this I guess I might try to work on either Electrospastic or Two Heroes. Most likely Two Heroes...or Exetype 2 XD

Well, since Yifan Zhang was the Chinese goddess of cats, I can safely assume the character is feline (plus the ears are a dead giveaway.) Also because Zhang's legion was composed to uphold order and justice, this character probably fights on the side of the Holy Peace Corps. Can't determine rank or gender yet though. Am I close?
