Karpak was up to his usual shenanigans at the Christmas party. He'd plucked the mistletoe from the doorway and started making his rounds. He casually chatted up the smaller guests before dangling the innocuous plant over their head. With jaws wide, he leaned in for a kiss that was deeper than most would have preferred.
When he made his way over to Dajan, he already sported a large thrashing belly. He leaned in close and cupped the small Lion's chin. Karpak looked down at the small feline and licked his chops. He bumped his squirming prey-filled belly against his next meal. "The spread at this party's pretty thin," Karpak joked. "But a few more of you little guys oughta make up for that." He laughed, and his belly shook. Dajan's ears flattened against his head. The leaves and berries swayed overhead. "Kissy kissy," the Bear cooed. "That's the rule." He opened his maw, tongue flopping out, ready to claim another prey for his Christmas dinner.
