Here are my GBWC 2018 Entry for Malaysia. Custom build from 100 Scale MG Gundam Unicorn Full Armor.
The Quad wing concept was conceived around 2010 but only started the build in 2012 after Bandai finally release the long awaited MG Gundam Unicorn Full Armor, the build took me around 7 years to complete, reason for being so slow was due to the constant revising the design, also too many parts.
Completed the build just in time for GBWC 2018 Malaysia and for world Championship in Japan. The Photo you see now are the final version that was used for world Championship in Japan. I replace the 4 support rod with acrylic rod and did some improvement for the posing and added and extra flying shield to fill up the empty space on the right. In the Japan final I came in 6th place, shows I have a lot more to improve. Promise myself will be back again for future GBWWC
Many Thanks to my sister help me to photograph this with her I phone. Enjoy. More Photos available in https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?.....GzcWjo0PP9Nn3S

I use to do WIP for this build but gave up along the way as i myself are even unsure what am i working on, i have so many revision to the point that i totally just gave up and focus on the building fully. and trail and error along the way
and to do tutorial was a bit time consuming, so i rather focus on the building instead. i have patient on the build but fail on documentation

this is incredible sir. masterful work here O.O i got to ask did you custom make the clear blue Acrylic(sp) areas of the under armour or did you repaint the them? and if you repainted them what did you use? to keep the clear like effect as that is really neat sir. :) but still as before that is incredible i hope you overwhelmingly crush your competitors.
The physco frame was originally clear green, i airbrush metallic blue instead, no longer clear but fully matallic. if you want a clear blue, u might have to get gundam Phenex, so far only he have blue physco frame.
The process are pretty simple, spray a base coat primer black onto the plastic, then spray metallic silver onto the black surface (black color helps brings out the silver). then spray clear blue onto the silver surface, lastly spray a gloss clear coat onto the component for protection. For my case, I spray a coat of UV light refection as protective coat, if UV light touches it it will glow in the dark, I never try out this.
Speaking of crushing the competition, i was crushed to 6th place out of 16 countries hahahah. u can check out my japan trip v log http://www.furaffinity.net/view/29809330/
