Since the events of Drum Corps International's top members getting exposed to CNG as a result of Bendraqi's interference, specific furries have become superheroes, but the G-52 handbook states one has to be 18 before he or she can become a G-52. However, given the circumstances, all DCI members that got immortalized are guaranteed to become G-52s once they reach their 18th birthday.
Surfer Gator, contrary to popular belief, doesn't come from Florida (though he lived there for a time). Instead, he lives in Mount Holly, New Jersey, and plays for the Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps.
