Looks like a fair bit of white rain you have there... All I have is the clear stuff falling right now... One wet sled dog laying in front of the heater napping... Got rather wet bringing said wet sled dog into the house... Hmmm Flip the coin... Heads we like the snow and want some, tails we like the rain and want more... Oops wet sled dog says she would rather have the snow... because she stays warmer when outside.
why is there a fence with no gate across what appears otherwise to be or have been a road or other right of way?
well i'm guessing its your or someone's property line, and i guess i can't blame anyone for not wanting the world trapesing through,
but it does annoy me when real-estate developers chop up old right of ways like that so no one can go for walks along them.
(going for long walks along old rights of ways is something i did a lot of growing up as a child, and taking pictures of them,
and dreaming about little narrow gauge trains going everywhere, and replacing the car, and the last i still do)
love what new fallen snow does to how it makes the world look.
never cared for how long it took to put on enough to stay warn out in it, nor the chill if i didn't,
but i sure loved seeing it, and watching rotary snow plows on the railroad.
wish it could always stay the way it looks when no one has to drive on it and not too many people have yet walked on it either.
(although its fun to see where four legged people have gone too)
needs to be deeper. about a foot and a half would be just right. over your head to dig tunnels in it is fun too.
