Here comes the first upload of 2019... a compilation of the charity badges I've been illustrating for Bilbao's Pokemon GO community.
I got involved with them thanks to my friend Ishtar-Creations , who shortly after joining the group that runs the charity event (on every Community Day) told me about how the badges they were selling weren't doing well (along with some other details).
I told them I'd happily be their illustrator so they could sell exclusive badges that'd hopefully better catch the eyes of prospective customers, I'm very happy to report that ever since they've been running out of the badges produced c:
This also gave me motivation to at least draw something once per month, which I had been neglecting, and to challenge myself to fit the Pokemon to the badges' reduced space and still be readable (especially the text line).
I'm really happy with the badges' outcome, I'm sure you can see the shading and lighting improvement between the first and the last batch of mons.
2019 is looking bright and positive to me and I hope to produce many more drawings with the same spirit as these badges c:
