Deep in the foxes' realm.

My muse here was a red fox I saw on a drive through the forest last year.

I had a specific vision going into this one, and I thought India ink would do perfectly for the background considering how well colors play with each other on a small scale. I wasn't nearly as lucky with an 8x10" area... so what you see is 'take 2', which involved copious amounts of Copic blended into black, then framed with a wet edge of black India ink.
