Nooooo! My art lamp appears to have finally died. It's been on it's way out for some time now. The power switch has been on the fritz and very touchy. It finally gave up the ghost on me. On the plus side, I now have a little spending money, so maybe I'll just go get a nice gooseneck lamp or some-such. In the meantime, have a map...
So, trying something new on the map, you may have noticed. The darkened areas are places you've seen, but you cannot see right now. The bright area of course is as far as your lamps and mushrooms light up. You're somewhere inexact in the middle of that ball of light.
Smiles glances back along the tunnel, to the west where it is too dark to see the ants, although everyone can clearly hear them milling around, there feet tapping on the stone. "Afraid..." it murmurs in draconic. "Me too..." The troglodyte looks quite anxious as it glances around. "Hard meats not come here. Afraid of wets..." The Trog stops talking rather suddenly to viciously take a rather crunchy bite out of the ant leg it had ripped off. "Mmmm..."
Ahead, the tunnel winds it's way south for a while before opening up into a small cavern. Smiles doesn't seem to be in any rush at the moment, instead deliberately procrastinating to chew on it's prize...

Taking advantage of the pause, Whault approaches the snacking Trog. Gesturing to help overcome the language barrier, he motions around his own head indicating areas similar to Smiles' injuries. As he gestures, he speaks in a slow, calm tone, "Can I look?" He continues, pointing towards himself and then towards Smiles' head, "I can help you."
mekie trys to wipe the exess ant muck from her face and off her weapons with a chuckle "heheh i havent been this messy sence the guild graduation party... Na'Nfr can you ask smiles if the ants are afraid of anthing like fire for example? we could use something like that to our advantage if the way we came in is the only way out and we need to get back through this area."
