take out the seatback on the front seat, sit your tail-end on the back seat with your taur legs in the front operating the pedals with the front seat cushion under your taur belly for support

good luck figuring out an effective seatbelt arrangement though, maybe cargo straps or something? im just a mechanic irl not a taur-car designer lol! ^w^

While strapping down the backside might need some attention, the bigger issue is arranging a back- and head-rest that can be moved out of the way.

maybe like a seatback that folds down from the roof and reinforces into place with enough space to let the taur's back through to the back seat, then a regular style of seatbelt might work better. then un-click and fold up the seatback into the roof for entry and exit! ^w^

That's one way. Having it swing out (to both driver and passenger) from a center post is another, or from the sides.

Hmmm... seat belt should still be alright as long as the rear of the car doesn't lift much in a front end collision. I'd be more worried about spinal injuries in a side collision that were not present before. After all, those are more the weak points of vehicles these days and with a taur having more side...

Honestly, it might be easier to strip out the seats entirely and put in a steering wheel mounted throttle used on cars for paraplegic drivers.

i seen some taur style cars, the lower back of the seat folds down for the taur body and upper half swings away for entry and exit. then returns to place to support upper torso
