Bah. This is horrible, but I've redone this picture too many times and I'm sick of working on it and the post is just getting later and later so. Here.

Smiles smiles back at Na'Nfr and attempts to make it pleasant, but apparently Troglodyte smiles have a different standard of pleasant then more civilized smiles.

Moving around the hairpin turn in the cave, you can see a blue-green glow, much like the water filtered light in the cavern pool you entered this cave system through. The light dances and refracts on the cave walls and you can distantly hear voices ahead. Moving closer, the voices are clearer, but still indistinct enough to make out words, but you can clearly recognize the voices of your missing caravaneers as well as Jaedan. From the tone of the voices, it sounds like an argument is going on.

Suddenly, Girthy hurries around the corner and into the cave, pulling a protesting Tanick behind him. "It's his choice to sacrifice himself to save us, but you have family and they'll skin me alive if I leave you behind, boy!"

The rabbit stops short at the sight of the party, stepping protectively in front of Tanick before he recognizes you a moment later. "Gods! I thought I'd never see you again, Whault!" He exclaims, rushing forward to give his adopted son a hug. "Come, help me get this fool back to the caravan before they change their minds!"

The large rabbit glances a bit nervously behind himself back down the tunnel towards the light.
