But anyway, you're pretty much exactly right! A carriette is a giant who wears a special harness that houses seating areas for normal-sized folk, and who is essentially employed as a walking bus^^ They're a cheaper alternative, AND they can bring personality to the table!
I'm sorry, I'll make sure to establish this kind of stuff more smoothly in the future^^;
