Here is a rather obscure tomboy cat character suggested to me by a friend. This is Mei Ling from Kung Fu Panda Secrets of the Furious Five, where she appeared in Crane's backstory as she helped and encouraged him to become a fighter at the Lee Da Kung Fu Academy. She is established to be a very strong fighter in her own right and she sees potential in others as she did with Crane. She also displays great confidence and determination, always striving to take on tougher opponents. Nevertheless, she is not without compassion since she stood up and felt bad for Crane when he was being ridiculed by the other students including the teacher as he was just a janitor before he became part of the Furious Five. I say she deserves a lot of recognition for being yet another awesome tomboy character.
