My name is Draco. I'm a friendly Charizard from Sydney, Australia. :) My hobbies include piano, video games, reading books, watching YouTube videos, and chatting on Skype. I'm not really a good artist, but I like to write fanfics. My favourite music genres include classical music and power metal. I also enjoy various games, but my most favourite franchises are Doom and Pokémon (I used to be into Sonic, but now not anymore). I'm not big into couples, but I strongly support Tailaze and DracoxCynder, the latter being me paired with Cynder from the TLoS series (please don't bash me!). Hope to make friends here, and avoid any unwanted drama, especially with my preferred couples. Anyone willing to do fanart of my character, it would be nice. I'm a fan of certain characters, including Bowser, Cynder, Tails, Blaze, and even Charizard.
Just to warn you though, I can't stand SpyroxCynder. I had bad experience with that couple, specifically its fans, ever since I founded CharizardxCynder. Same with Silvaze. I can't stand that awful pairing.

A Note On Art Requests: I do not take art requests, so please do not ask me for any. However, when it comes to gift art, I'll choose anyone who is watching me or I'm watching at random, and make art for that person. That's just the way I roll now as I want to focus more on other stuff and do art when I have the time to do so.

The Heroic Fox Bloodline Explained (G)
The Heroic Fox Bloodline is a meta-multiverse crossover concept which attempts at connecting beloved fox characters with each other and establishing like a familial "lineage" between them, many of whom are Disney and non-Disney characters. There have been a variety of takes, but the take that makes the most sense is the crossover of Robin Hood and Zootopia, with a few more thrown in the mix. Several foxes from these franchises would form the Heroic Fox Bloodline, and they are the following:
- Robin Hood and Maid Marian (Disney Robin Hood)
- Jane (The Legends of Treasure Island)
- Miles "Tails" Prower (Sonic the Hedgehog)
- Nick Wilde (Zootopia)
- Fox McCloud (Star Fox)
To start from the beginning, we're going straight to 12th century England, wherein begins a family legacy that will span for generations to come.
Robin Hood and Maid Marian - The Ancestral Medieval Duo
Debut: Robin Hood (1973) - Disney
They can best be described as the "Founders" of the Heroic Fox family line. Robin Hood is the smooth, daring trickster who uses his agility, cleverness, and cunning wit to rob the rich to feed the poor. In fact, originally, Disney was going to make an adaptation of the literary cycle Reynard the Fox, but that idea was scrapped after Walt Disney decided not to, based on the content that the titular character would not be a good role model for young audiences, and it wasn't until when the creative team looked at Robin Hood and decided to put it together with Reynard that the result of the 1973 animated movie came to be of the Robin Hood legend portrayed through an anthropomorphic animal setting. So, while Robin Hood was the dashing thief who steals for a good cause, Maid Marian served as the patient, kindhearted, moral compass for the lineage and as the outlaw and noble come together, they pass down their traits to future foxes who will become heroes in their own right, leading to the next foxy hero...
Jane - The Feisty Seafarer in the Age of Sail
Debut: The Legends of Treasure Island (1993) - ITV plc
Continuing in merry ol' England, this time in the mid-18th century when the Age of Sail was at its peak with sea voyages, maritime trade, and piracy, we meet the next link in the heroic fox bloodline: Jane from the 1993 British animated cartoon The Legends of Treasure Island, an adaptation of the Treasure Island book by Robert Louis Stevenson. A tomboyish vixen (female fox) with a sarcastic personality (likely traits passed down from Robin Hood) yet also compassionate at the same time (likely passed down from Maid Marian), Jane sets an unprecedented standard of the time as a willing and capable heroine in a male-dominated world. Although there is debate on what her species is as some consider her a vixen while others consider her to be a cat, her bushy tail and overall character design clearly indicates that she is of the vulpine persuasion, hence her iteration in the broader heroic fox family. In The Legends of Treasure Island, Jane initially appeared as a cook of Long John Silver (another fox in the cartoon)'s crew but defected to Jim Hawkins (portrayed as a dog) and the Hispaniola expedition where she uses her foxy cleverness and guile to help find the treasure and outsmart Long John and his pirates in the process.
Miles "Tails" Prower - The Tech Genius in the Modern Age
Debut: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992) - Sega
Now we come to what is perceived to be the late 20th century, or at the very least the Modern Age, where the world has drastically advanced thanks to technology, and this is where Tails comes in. Like Jane, Tails is another character who isn't by Disney but is placed into the heroic fox bloodline as a descendant of Robin Hood thanks to his status as a hero in the Sonic universe. Tails is another character who sets an unprecedented standard as a child prodigy, as despite being a young fox kit, with two tails, no less, he is established as a highly intelligent and exceptionally gifted youngster who is very resourceful, uses his keen intellect to build gadgets and machinery to help Sonic thwart Dr. Eggman's goals for world domination. Unlike his bold and confident predecessors Robin Hood and Jane, however, Tails is less combative and more kindhearted, sweet-natured, shy, loyal, and reserved, though having moments where his bravery is put to the test, so in the sense that he is a potential descendant of Robin Hood, it is safe to say that he has inherited predominantly Maid Marian's key defining personality traits. A fun note, my take on Tails' parents' names is Robert "Bobby" Amadeus and Michelle Rosemary Prower, and as an adult he would be wearing green clothes, a possible indication that the family legacy of Robin and Marian are still alive and well.
Nick Wilde - The Con Artist in the Early Millennium
Debut: Zootopia (2016) - Disney
Here is the one character many consider to be a direct descendant to Robin Hood. In fact, Byron Howard and Rich Moore, the directors of Zootopia and Zootopia 2 had confirmed that Robin Hood himself served as inspiration for the character design of Nick Wilde, despite their claims that Robin Hood and Zootopia are in separate universes.. Now for something interesting, in my take on the Heroic Fox Bloodline; after Jane, the family tree splits at some point in time with one branch leading towards Tails and the other towards Nick Wilde, essentially making them distant relatives in that sense. Nick Wilde is the smooth-talking popsicle hustler who eventually makes his way into becoming a police officer after helping Judy Hopps solve the mystery of the missing mammals, which makes his start as being an outlaw reflecting his ancestor Robin Hood's origins, though Nick is more sarcastic and cynical, given how he had a rather traumatic childhood experience leading him to the life of crime.
Fox McCloud - The Galactic Mercenary in the Far Future
Debut: Star Fox/Starwing (1993) - Nintendo
This seems to be the ultimate evolution in the Heroic Fox Bloodline, for now it takes the family line's battle for justice to the stars with Fox McCloud from the Star Fox series. In my narrative of the bloodline, Tails and his offspring would discover hyperspace travel through the use of Chaos Energy, where they harnessed the powers of the Chaos Emeralds into spacecraft, allowing them to be able to travel at velocities that matches if not exceed the speed of light, including incredible feats like barrel rolls, and this where at one point, Tails' descendants will depart from Earth to another part of the galaxy known as the Lylat System. As the son of space pilot James McCloud, Fox is the culmination of Robin Hood's leadership skills, Jane's bravery, and Tails' tech-savvy nature all rolled into one, and much like Robin Hood, Fox leads his own band of "Merry Men" mercenaries with Slippy Toad, Peppy Hare, and even Falco Lombardi. Surprisingly, he has a rivalry with Wolf O'Donnell, which could be harkening back to Robin Hood's entanglements with Prince John's enforcer the Sheriff of Nottingham.
Foxes as animals and their application into anthropomorphism
The genius of the Heroic Fox Bloodline is that it traces to foxes in real life and their iteration into anthropomorphism. Foxes are essentially the masterminds of the animal kingdom, very astute, clever, and sneaky creatures who always manage to gain the upper hand against all odds, establishing their reputation as sly tricksters who are always observing and assessing the situations in front of them like they're planning a heist. Their physical appearance, typically fiery red coats that come in variety of shades that including orange and even gold, make them quite dashing, to say the least. Their iteration into the world of anthropomorphism reflects that very well as they are often depicted as the charming rogue archetype. Robin Hood, Jane, Nick Wilde, and Fox McCloud are prime examples of the fox model archetype as they are shown strutting their charisma. That being said, there's also another side to real life foxes where their soft sweetness is apparent, they are also shy, timid little goofballs, which is where Maid Marian and Tails fit the lesser-known side of the fox, less being sly tricksters, and more loyal, compassionate, amicable honey buns with big fluffy hearts, with Maid Marian being the dainty fair lady and Tails being a genius who is an expert on designing gadgetry. Marian, Tails, and even Jane since she has a good mixture of both the clever and wholesome fox traits, are proof that even the slyest animal has a sweet and tender side as they are such delicate, warm cinnamon rolls that make comforting cuddlers. Combining all these traits together, and you get an animal so versatile in the world of animation as we can that every fox hits differently.
Common themes within the Heroic Fox Bloodline
The Colour Green - Robin Hood, Jane, Nick Wilde, and Fox McCloud wore articles of clothing that are coloured green, from Robin Hood's tunic, to Jane's jacket, to Nick's shirt, and to Fox's pants. I even headcanonise that Tails would start wearing some green clothes, which continues on the trend within the family.
The Adorable Fox Pout - Robin Hood, Maid Marian, Nick Wilde, and even Tails share similar facial expressions with each other, most notably, in the case of Marian, Nick, and Tails, the "fox pout."
Known by Their Nicknames - Robin tends to be called "Rob" or "Robby" by his partner-in-crime Little John and Maid Marian was referred to as "Lady Fair" by Skippy, Tails' real name is Miles Prower, but goes by his nickname due to his two tails and Nick's full name is Nicholas Piberius Wilde. Headcanon-wise, as an expansion to this trope, Jane's full name is Margaret Jane Napier, so she is known by her middle name, and Fox's real name is James Hewitt McCloud III, but is known as "Fox" so to avoid confusion with his father, who he is named after.
Opposition to Authoritarianism - All these foxes stood against ruthless dictators, tyrants, and warlords of all kinds. Robin Hood defied the oppressive rule of Prince John, Jane kept dealing with the wicked pirate Long John Silver, Tails helped Sonic and his friends foil Dr. Eggman's many attempts at world domination, Nick Wilde opposed a corrupt system that doesn't allow the residents of Zootopia to live peacefully, which includes individuals who perpetuate the corruption like Dawn Bellwether and the Lynxley family, and Fox had to thwart the machinations of Andross who threaten the peace and freedom of the Lylat System. And speaking of villains...
The Antagonistic John - Robin Hood and Jane share having an antagonist whose name is John, for Robin Hood, it was Prince John, and for Jane, it was Long John Silver. Tails also counts since Dr. Eggman's full name is Ivo Robotnik, with Ivo being a diminutive of the name Ivan, which is the Slavic form of John. While there is no known villainous character named John in the Zootopia and Star Fox franchises, I headcanonise Milton Lynxley (villain of Zootopia 2)'s full name to be John Milton Lynxley, and the possibility that Fox's nemesis Andross, who was only known by the name, though he's also referred to as Dr. Andross, to have a first name that is either the name or a variety of John, just to complete the cycle of Generation Xerox (Funny enough, Lynxley is a cat, just like Prince John, though Lynxley is a lynx while Prince John is a lion).
Prone to Danger - Some of these foxes find themselves in perilous situations in their many ventures, Robin Hood had been captured by Prince John who set up an archery tournament as a trap and would have been executed had it not been for Little John's intervention, Jane had been captured by Long John Silver several times, and then some, Tails had his moments of getting in trouble, which includes being captured by Eggman in his debut appearance, compelling Sonic to rescue him, but not without finding the Chaos Emeralds, and Nick Wilde had been imprisoned by the Lynxleys while he with Judy and Gary De Snake were on the run from the law.
The Wolf Adversary - As mentioned above, Robin Hood and Fox McCloud share a fierce rival or adversary who is a wolf, with the Sheriff of Nottingham being the one Robin Hood deals with and Wolf O'Donnell as Fox's arch-rival. Additionally, one of Tails' enemies was Hocke-Wulf, one of the henchmen of Witchcraft, the antagonist of an obscure game called Tails' Skypatrol. It could be possible that Hocke-Wulf and Wolf O'Donnell are far descendants of the dastardly Sheriff.
Aversion to Reptile - It's no secret that most of these fox characters have interacted with reptiles, but while for some, they're perfectly fine with them (unless you count Fox confronting General Scales in Star Fox Adventures), Nick Wilde might have inherited his initial dislike for snakes from Robin Hood, who had Prince John's advisor Sir Hiss.
Traumatic Childhood - Jane, Tails, and Nick all had been victims of bullying in their young years. In an episode of The Legends of Treasure Island, the Hispaniola crew had come across a fog which caused them to relive past memories, and for Jane, she was screaming in pain and fear, implying that she had been bullied as a child. Tails' backstory establishes how he was bullied for his two tails before he met Sonic, and as for Nick, he revealed in the first Zootopia movie how his life of popsicle hustling was the result of him being bullied by the animal scouts on account of his species as all the other scouts were prey animals.
Buds With Bunnies - Seems like most of these foxes had found friendships with rabbits and hares; Skippy for Robin Hood, Cream the Rabbit for Tails, Judy Hopps for Nick, and Peppy Hare for Fox. In fact, it could be possible that all these rabbits could be descendants of Skippy (as many speculate in regard to Judy with the Robin Hood and Zootopia connection, though that's another story), fostering a generation upon generation friendship between the fox and rabbit families. Interestingly, we see role switches between Robin Hood and Star Fox, with the former, it's Robin Hood being the heroic fox mentor to the plucky young rabbit Skippy, while for the latter, Peppy Hare is the seasoned mentor and father figure to the adventurous Fox McCloud, which is poetic in so many ways.
In conclusion, these findings further strengthen and deepen the expansion of the Heroic Fox Bloodline theory, as with all these foxes listed, the narrative conveys how they use the "cunning trickster fox" archetype for good, and together, they all demonstrate the message of how brains ultimately triumph over brawns. Robin Hood serves as the blueprint, thus him being the progenitor of the hero fox, and he would pass down his legacy, which comes a long way from a bow and arrow to an advanced space-age laser blaster. Although there are other heroic fox characters like Tod (The Fox and the Hound), Mr. Fox (Fantastic Mr. Fox) Diane Foxington (The Bad Guys), and Fink (The Wild Robot), not every heroic fox necessarily has to be related to Robin Hood as they don't always share the same common themes and contexts as the key players, and they don't exactly fit into the narrative of what this crossover is telling. It is a story of how an outlaw of the forest would usher in a lineage of seafarers, tech geniuses, popsicle hustlers, and space pilots.
