There are few poems that I write, where I wind up feeling like there is almost nothing I can say about them, other than what is said right in the piece, itself.
This is one of those.
The only one, small thing, that I can add is that I had some vague, diffuse inspiration from a song called ‘Blue Collar’, which can be found on Bachmann-Turner-Overdrive’s (BTO’s) 1973 self-titled first album.
