Emery is 42.

Emery's so handsome. x3 Though this page does explain better why Emery would prefer having a secret relationship with an intern instead of simply going out to a gay bar and picking someone up. He still feels like he "owes" Sarah, and publicly dating a man would seem like kicking someone while they're down. Keeping things secret with Andy is Emery's way of coping with his failed marriage. Its still not exactly a healthy way of dealing with things, but he's still a forgivable character.

I imagine having a serious talk with Sarah about things might help Emery get over the issue, but I don't know if Jackaloo will have that happen.

I love Emery! I just hope he and Andy figure things out...

((((BTW, I don't want to be annoying but the speech bubble between panels 3 and 4 should say "...and I wanted so badly to make it work..."))))

Well done on the backstory with Emery. It certainly made me want to know more about him :3

I've finally been going back and doing analysis through the Internship comics and side comics and it's just. So. Good.

So wholesome, very frank, so cringe inducing all the right ways, very down to earth and written with such thoughtful characters.

Still one of my favorite stories of all time <3
