Hey hey guys [uploading late in the year thanks to so many problems happening on my end but I'M STILL ALIVE]
Here are some Christmas tree cupcakes [saw the idea on pintrest so I decided to put my own little psin on it]
Using a cake mix I split the batter into 2 and colored them green and red and added peppermint to give it a little bit of a kick. The trees are made of waffle cones iced with homemade peppermint icing and decorated with little candies from our local Bulk Barn. Inside [before I iced the trees] I put dairy queen hot fudge at the tips, than a layer of broken up graham crackers, then a layer of chocolate chips than sealed it up with marshmallow fluff [which acts as an adhesive to the cupcake] These were very well received. Though they are only "fresh" for a day before the icing makes the waffle cone "soggy"

Ive seen this ice cream cone design before, well done :3
I think to avoid the cone from getting soggy, you -could- always put melted chocolate (or that chocolate shell stuff)
and coat it with that first.
Which does three things - 1.) Keeps it from getting soggy 2.) You get CHOCOLATE and 3.) You get the frosting to cover it -
or, just decorate it with silver sprinkles, red and green nonpareils, etc. as is!
