So at a San Diego comic-con, many (ohhh gawds, how many!) moons ago, I ran across Steve Purcell's booth. He had a stand-up where you could stick your head thru a hole and get a Polaroid taken as a highway surfer on Sam & Max's car. Cool, eh? Of course I did that, and got my photo in a nice cardboard folder, labeled "I laughed at death's haircut - Highway Surfing with Sam & Max".

I love it when these little treasures from the past pop up. It was a whole different world, back then.
