My friend and I decided to kayak out to a deserted island on one of the last hot days in August. A once populated village lay vacant on lawns only cared for by the shore, otherwise overgrown from eyeshot of the dock. Bad sunburn, but good times.

This is the small chapel by the shore, now boarded and stripped of its alter and pews. The beam of light is a reflection off my lens, and since it was so awesomely centered, I left it. :d
