Roughly 900ft long, core design for the ICDF warships.
Engine and core designs produced by NASA and CTI. The ships themselves were manufactured at the ICDF's construction facility in Germany, near the IKV complex. (Their HQ).
Each vessel is powered by a cosmic energy reactor and achieves flight through cosmic engines, allowing it to more or less sustain flight indefinitely outside of landings for resupply, repairs/maintenance and shore leave. Every warship belonging to the ICDF is equipped with a variety of weapons, the main weapons being the railguns and cosmic cannons on the bow section. (2 Large rail guns, 1 cosmic cannon per ship. 4 and 2 for the Archimedes.) Additionally each ship is equipped with a small compliment of drones and Apex androids alongside the crew.
The cosmic reactors are further used to supply a shielding system and further, the ship's ultimate mechanism. The cosmic jump drive. When activate the ship warps to a destination on Earth that has been input into the system for the jump. The jump is not accurate and so the ship arrives at a rough approximation. This system will fail to activate if the jump is likely to place the craft into the ground or a major obstruction. (Buildings/the ocean.) However the jump drive does not teleport the ship, instead the craft creates a cosmic 'trench' in the universe and flies through it, factoring in the movement of the Earth and surrounding celestial bodies before coming out the other side and thus any small items (such as birds on the other side will likely be destroyed when the ship and it's energy field fly into them. After a single use the jump drive requires a large recharge period and thus it is not be used outside of emergency deployments or evacuation of areas where the craft is located.
The lead ICDF craft is the Archimedes, which is often host to commander Vincent Cross, where he will oversee the organization's operations when in the field.
The ICDF's Sabre unit is assigned to the Canberra, while the Alkahest unit rotates to different craft dependent on the operation.
The current fleet consists of:
Archimedes, Ottawa, Canberra
Under construction
London, Berlin, Geneva and Brussels
