Mission: 9
Objective: Capture the fox in the forest
Nishi's Note: The Real Foxhunt
Self-explanatory, as long as you've been keeping up?
Not so sure what he's saying is all the truth, since Cooni and Oxnard have both been possessed, but it seems like it's where things are going.

Kazootles! Now, I definately can say that I didn't see this turn of events coming at all. And what a turn of events indeed, too.
Not only is this an excellent cliff-hanger, but I also really like, as has been mentioned, the obvious change in behavior of Cooni. Faux's influence definately brings out a different side of him in more ways than one.
On a fun note, considering Cooni's text is now in a different color, does that mean he is speaking to Fuxie in a voice that is a blend between his own and Faux Farewell's, or is he perhaps entirely speaking in Faux's distinct voice? I know things like this are open to the reader at times, but I'm curious as to what you hear him sunding like in the perspective of the story teller. :)
As for what happens next, Cooni and Fuxie, to my belief, have completely different styles of combat. Should these two get into it, I could only imagine the sorts of kicks and tricks that will go on between the two.
Onto the next! :)

Hehe, I'm glad the characters have changed and shown more up to this point! (: Though, I also think it's a bit predictable at this point - both because of my writing, and because I've stretched this chapter out to make everything more clear and obvious, it's a lot easier to see what's going to happen. :3
I usually use the orange glowy eyes as an indicator for Faux. And you're right! The orange text boxes also indicate his presence. At this time, I think Faux has almost completely taken over Cooni. The idea was that he was waiting at the forked tree as Oxnard, and once Cooni walked by, his spirit left Oxnard, which is what made him fall off the tree and catch the attention of Fuxie and Cooni. Then he drifted completely back into Cooni.
As for the voice, it's under Faux's control. As for how it sounds, I'd think I wouldn't want it to be much different from how the characters usually sound. Since he possessed both Cooni and Oxnard, I think if he sounded too different, those around him would know something odd was happening. So instead I think the eyes are the only indicator of his presence.
Because of Fuxie's carelessness/unawareness, bad vision, and the way Cooni's eyes have almost always been orange, she's very unaware of the changes in his and other characters at this point. (:
And yup! Fuxie definitely has her own fighting style, compared to both Cooni and Faux. I'm sure some of their signature moves will pop out in the upcoming battle. (:
