Seen here playing his drum as part of a photo shoot, Freedom Drummer is another of the appointed Drumbum leaders that is also a G-52. Here's the bio on this wolf:
Freedom Drummer Bio
Name: Freedom Drummer
Alternate Name: Walter King
Species: Gray timberwolf
Nationality: American
Occupations: Leader of the Drumbum Wolves (as approved by the Snare Soldier and other Drumbum leaders), former Civil War re-enacting drummer (the first one from 1861-65) and American Revolution, percussionist on the musical payroll system and part-time private instructor; model and bodybuilder (as part of being a Drumbum), and part-time percussionist with the Wildcat City Symphony and/or Philharmonic.
Appearance: Large and muscular gray wolf with brown eyes. Like all Drumbums, he pads (goes barefoot), but will wear the appropriate footwear if necessary. Also, like all Drumbums, his band uniform is orange with golden stripes across the chest and pant legs, and golden epaulettes with stars. When re-enacting battles, he wears the correct Union soldier's uniform for the Civil War, or the correct colonial soldier's uniform for the Revolution (and he has had many discussions with Ulysses the Union Lion and his drummer counterpart, Grayson the Faithful Lion, as well as Lucas the Revolutionary Lion and his counterpart, David the Revolutionary Drummer Lion, on the subjects).
Original Hometown: Yorktown, VA, USA
Current Hometown: Wildcat City, KS, USA
Age Immortalized by CNG: 27
Battle Uniform: He uses a modified version of his colonial soldier's uniform as his battle uniform.
Superpowers: Super strength. Though he plays his re-enactor's rope-tensioned snare drum in battle, the drum doesn't have any powers (he plays it to live up to his superhero name).
Bio: Walter has been involved in re-enactments of battle his whole life, in various roles, because his father pressured him into being a musician (wrongly believing traditions dictate what one must do for his life because his ancestors did it). Living in Yorktown, he naturally began doing re-enactments of the Battle of Yorktown, where General Cornwallis surrendered to George Washington. His family moved to Wildcat City as a result of a job transfer (it was his mother's job), and so he continued doing re-enactments for the Civil War, doing the battle that took place in what eventually became Wildcat City, but was declared "too dreadful to be written down," because of the excessive number of casualties. (Literally only two individuals lived to tell about it: a lion cub for each side serving as a drummer boy; the cub for the Union is a celebrated ancestor of the Lion of Liberty.)
Walter no longer does re-enactments due to being appointed leader of the Drumbum Wolves. (Note that the animals who are Drumbums who are not a rat, lion, tiger, dingo, bulldog, or fox all come from this world, and many American; this is because the Drumbums wanted a larger species diversity.) He was already in shape from the re-enactments, and so he took up bodybuilding to help.
Walter also play for the symphony and philharmonic orchestras associated with the city as part of the payroll.
Quotes: none publicized; he prefers to be a wolf of few words
Catchphrases: no verbal catchphrases, but he frequently does the military salute
