And here we see the reaction of the typical Arix when someone tries to explain magic to him.

Mage: "It's quite simple. You just look at something, and you will something to happen to it."
Arix: "You just...will it to happen?"
M: "Exactly."
A: "But I've heard mages have to learn spells."
M: "Yes?"
A: "...how do you learn how to want something?"
M: "Well, you see...uh, there's a little more to it than that. It's hard to explain. Like...can you explain how you breathe fire?"
A: "I contract a muscle in my throat near my chest which causes a gland to secrete a chemical mixture which ignites when it comes into contact with the air outside, propelled along by my breath."
M: "..."
A: "...do you have a magic gland in your wrist?"
M: "Okay, well then...think of it your sword, but, like...you need a certain power to wield it."
A: "So magic is like a weapon, but you need something extra to use it at all?"
M: "Yes. And sometimes it backfires on you and burns your fingers."
A: "...magic sucks."
