could have been one of the legs off the brown one Elim whacked into what i would assume was the wall.
Like any good fighter, he'd follow through which would toss the yinglet off of his club/mace which would have sent it flying off to the side.

I'm glad to see supporting officers arriving on the scene! The fact that Elim is still about himself to talk is a good sign. I'll be interested to see if the ring leader survived, or more specifically, isn't going to succumb to his wounds from being tossed. I can't imagine him being in good health after that impact, though something tells me he will be slinking away before other officers can find him. lol then you balance this out with the little goofball at the end! Another strong addition to the story, my friend!
Yep. Looks like a heron leg to me. I know: I've seen dismembered heron legs iRL, the aftermath of Peregrine Falcon attacks. Think a Peregrine can't bring down a Great Blue Heron? Think again. They're big, but they're slow in the air. It's like an F-18 going up against a Boeing 747: No contest.

I don't think we seen the last of that yinglet even with a leg/arm missing. He'd want revenge at this point if he is still alive which I am thinking he is. No body thus far, only a limb that was recovered by a crazy. So until a body is found/shown I am pretty sure we haven't seen the last of him although in a odd sense Kass and him make a good couple in the smarts department (lolz).
According the color of leg and toes , this limb can belong only to the orange haired yinglet (Brakka is the other one with the same color leg but with pink toes)
