Actually, that wouldn't be too far off the mark. Jay Leno did an episode, they were showcasing a 6x6 Power Wagon that was custom built. The guest that was explaining about the truck, said after all the work they had done to it, somehow they forgot to figure out what they were going to do about the gas tank. In the end, the tank was integrated as part of the truck bed, effectively hiding it.

It's okay, I'm sure there's a filling station or magic crystal salesman around here somewhere...
