A friend told me it is easier to make a story if you make a map for it, which i did now. It shows my entire land with some area.
Main cities are
Sorkon: once the proud creation of the Salva'orek, they lived isolated from the rest of the race on Vilvanek. This Xenophobia made them easy target against the powerful Remaining witches of Xiriday, the Maestrals invaded Sorkon and took control of the city. Those who did not bow down or retreated were killed by the Tyrant Desse. Who was later dismembered by her daughter Maldesse who took control, they are in constant war with Dal Komor.
Dal Komor: City made by multiple species, the city once was the beacon of hope, now it fell from grace, greed took over and corruption is the norm. While any species can still live under the banner, the word Pure and Hope means little now. Ruled by a corrupted king who lived since the first building stood in this now large city, the one people fear the most is General Azara, a powerful moth knight who too went from hero to the shadow of its former self. Many wonder who the good people are between Sorkon and Dal-Komor, the answer, none.
Durianossa: City built by Outcast, protected by an ancient dragon, they live a life away from war and Dal'Komor greed. While they seem like a perfect place, the city is filled with bandits and other lawbreakers, there are few guards and people tend to do their own justice. They were never invaded by Sorkon or Dal-Komor due to the war focusing all troops in defending and attacking the opposite side.
Xiriday: There is little known about the west anymore, the land is plagued by arcane creatures and mutation, none managed to venture deep and return alive. The only area someone managed to get near and escape alive is named Shriek island. The Adventurer claimed to have heard many bone chilling screams from there, he dared not go any deeper and none can blame it for that.
Most area on the map are town, affiliated and non-affiliated with Dal-Komor or Sorkon. The main area of interest are
Moth Island: The land is shaped like a moth and is the home land of the moths. Those who visit the land says it is where most of the rare and fascinating Females live. They worship the moon and are content being far from urban area.
New Sorkon : Some of the Salva'orek ran their tail between their leg away from their homeland. They have not learn their lesson as they forbid non Salva'orek species to get near them. They are less friendly than up north due to the heat getting on their nerves fast, meaning they kill on sight 80% of the time, unlike when they lived up North where they preferred warning you to turn back, attacking only if the person refused to cooperate.
Nocstruma's grave: This giant corpse was the abomination created by the witches of Xiriday. The beast was a gigantic failed Conjuration as it was born missing most of its flesh, yet was capable of walking, shooting powerful arcane beam that pierced through mountains. When it died, the abyss colored blood slowly corrupted the main lake. They quickly built a dam to prevent the blood from spreading in the ocean due to any animal consuming the water, turning into large a deadlier version of themselves. The forest is not Cursed by the blood and those who are allowed to cross Sorkon border, are escorted by special troops trained to traverse the cursed woods.
Bright Feathers : No one believed it, but there is a subspecies of Maestrals that left Xiriday when they went at war against Dal-Komor. They live in the jungle of the southern border, they have brighter colors and the female are not aggressive like the western, now nothern species lives. They welcome any newcomer as long as they do not attempt to force their rules upon them, they may be peaceful, they will not allow the east or north to invade their little paradise.
Wrath of the ying enclave is not on the map, this is simply to show where Neeva's enclave is located, hidden in mountain forest, surrounding a lake, the area is rich with mineral but they tend to steal most supply from either Raid or simply theft of any travelling caravan passing near their location.
Well this was my first attempt to make a map, i think it went alright but i dont wish to color it or i'll end up ruining it i fear heh. Well least i have visual of my world for story telling .
I have yet to put more lore in the other area i made, theres also a few enclaves that arent marked on the map, mainly because not many would believe it is important information, they rather have people not waste their time near them.
