Chuong: Angola these days. Technically Portugal with the fun of Brazil on African land.
Teoboldo/Timothy: Yes and no. But it is true that we borrow a lot of influences from Portugal. Some people are surprised to see a lot of ethnic Portuguese in the country where many of them are usually expats at least as others are tourists. One of Portugal's conservative politicians is an ethnic Portuguese born in Angola when we used to be a colony of theirs.
Sebastian: A lot of outsiders who don't speak Portuguese are often surprised how Leopoldo the Navigating Lion visits Angola often despite being from Portugal and representing that country.
Super Sailor: Well we have very close ties with Portugal. Our Catholic clergy are also trained by Portuguese Catholic clergy. We even celebrate Portuguese traditions in Angola as well along with local traditions. Brazil is another country where we have close ties with as well and some of my kind live there.
