Jace stumbled upon a mirror that sucked him in as he got close to it, observing his reflection. It was actually a portal!
After stumbling through a nether, he found himself in a familiar place. It was one of his old residences from when he was much younger.
As he explored his old childhood home, he was absolutely stunned at what happened when he entered his old bedroom: he was there.
Well not HE was there, but rather his younger self: a troubled adolescent wolf who looked terrified to see an older version of himself.
He knew the look his younger self was giving him too well. He would spend that evening consoling and giving advice to his younger half.Jace never had the smoothest past. Someone was running commissions of people's characters giving their younger self advice, and I had to get in on it. It's such an awesome concept!
Never give up, never surrender.
