Not sure why I never posted this here. This is the very first story I did with Desert Dog- wayyy back in '13. But this is her sort of origin story as a heroine and how she ended up in Colmaton in the first place, a good story of rookie hubris and when it comes to play big time.

Colmaton is being total idiots - they HAVE to know about Rose.
And the professor would NOT be telling the kids to wipe their cell phones. He needs evidence of what happened.
But quibbles aside, great story! I know you can't kill off Rose, but ... I wouldn't have shed any tears if DD had knocked her off the building. She's truly evil.
